Program Overview

  • A three-year rotational program which includes a 12-month rotation in Internal Audit and a 24-month rotation in US Finance.

  • The Program is crafted to allow participants to complete the proficiencies and audit hour requirements established by the Massachusetts Public Board of Accountancy in order to receive their Certified Public Accounting certification.

  • Program training will include the Company’s internal audit training program for new employees while being supervised by a CPA from both Audit Services and US Controllers team in addition to a mentor.

  • Each student receives 20 paid study days and 4 paid days to sit for the exam

  • Tuition reimbursement (up to $7,500 per year) towards classes needed to obtain 150 credit hours

  • Monetary bonus for passing the exam within 12 months or 24 months

  • Cover costs for study materials and for one sitting for each part of the exam

How you’ll make an impact

  • While in Internal Audit, participants will have the opportunity to work on the assessment of financial and operational controls and risks and work on assurance and report writing skills.

  • While in US Finance, participants will have the opportunity to assist with IFRS, USGAAP and NAIC external and internal reporting.

  • Interns will participate in the quarterly close process through our financial reporting teams and Shared Service Centers, including tax and expenses; and walkthroughs and/or other financial control work and/or risk management functions.

  • Meticulous, well-organized, with excellent analytical skills

  • Self-starter and great teammate with a high level of initiative, strong work ethic and the ability to capture, synthesize, organize and report information

  • Ability to multi-task and manage priorities in a fast paced and deadline-driven environment

  • Highly motivated

  • Excels academically, preferably with an Accounting or Finance related degree

  • Strong digital literacy in Microsoft Office applications

Salary & Benefits

The annual base salary for this role is listed below.

Primary Location

Boston, Massachusetts

Salary range is expected to be between

$50,475.00 USD - $84,125.00 USD

The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training. Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance.
