Job Description:

  • Research, architect, develop, maintain and benchmark 3D EM field solver.

  • Translate higher level strategic objectives to specific technical deliverables with appropriate prioritization

  • Stay updated on new research in the academic community and incorporate cutting edge solutions to stay ahead of the competition

  • Contribute to marketing collateral to promote winning values of the 3D Field solver

  • Work in a small team with significant individual ownership and collaborate with other developers to maximize team output

Qualification:

  • PhD with minimum 5 years industry R&D experience in Computational Electromagnetics

Required Expertise

  • Boundary element-based 3D EM field solver formulations and software architecture

  • Parallel programming using shared and distributed memory systems , GPU

  • Object oriented software architecture

  • Software development and performance optimization in C++ Fast solvers in solving dense boundary element matrix, pre-conditioners

  • Domain decomposition methods

  • Incorporating latest research ideas including machine learning techniques to improve solver

  • Correlating 3D EM field solver results to reference / measured data

  • Effective verbal and written communication in English

Preferred Expertise / Quality

  • GPU programming

  • Conversant in latest Machine learning techniques and their application in Computational EM

  • Agile software development

  • Knowledge of Python

  • Ability to work in a geographically distributed team with minimal supervision

Siemens Software. Transform the Everyday

The salary range for this position is $121,400 to $218,500 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
