Description We are in search of a diligent Payroll Manager for our Brooklyn-based organization. This role primarily involves managing payroll functions in a global context, with the possibility of remote or hybrid work arrangements. The employment opportunity is short-term contract-based. The individual will be expected to handle payroll operations using various platforms such as ADP - Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, Great Plains (GPAC), and Workday.

Responsibilities:

• Managing and overseeing the processing of global payroll operations

• Utilizing platforms such as ADP - Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, Great Plains (GPAC), and Workday for payroll processing

• Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and organizational policies

• Handling 401k - RRSP Administration and managing related accounting functions

• Overseeing the execution of benefit functions

• Managing data processing tasks related to payroll

• Ensuring accurate timekeeping with tools such as About Time

• Addressing and resolving payroll-related inquiries and issues

• Collaborating with other departments to ensure efficient payroll operations

• Monitoring and auditing payroll procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance Requirements • Proficiency in ADP Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now

• Experience with Ceridian and Data Processing

• Knowledge of Great Plains (GPAC) software

• Familiarity with 401k and RRSP Administration

• Proficiency in About Time software

• Understanding of Accounting Functions

• Ability to handle Benefit Functions

• Knowledge and experience in Compliance

• Ability to manage and oversee a team

• Excellent organizational and leadership skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities

• Proficient in MS Office and relevant payroll software

• Understanding of data privacy standards

• Analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities

• Detail-oriented and strong numerical skills

• Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines

• Relevant certification or degree in related field.
