Job Title: Operations Support Specialist

Location: Calgary, Canada (hybrid)

Position Summary

The Operations Support Specialist will cleanse and load customer and terminal information from various sources to the company’s master database of record. It will be the specialist's responsibility to ensure that the information received from various stakeholders is accurate, complete, and correctly formatted prior to processing to ensure a seamless and accurate terminal setup as this data moves through the company’s onboarding and maintenance workflows.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Initiate the customer onboarding process by entering data into multiple systems and sharing documents with internal teams.

  • Manage record modification requests and support projects for customers by integrating data from multiple data sources to the appropriate applications.

  • Manage paperwork related to customers and requests for compliance and record retention.

  • Review data input into software databases to ensure data integrity standards are being maintained as directed by management.

  • Maintain electronic and paper filing systems for active and inactive records including scanning, indexing, and filing.

  • Demonstrate responsibility and respect for data integrity, security, and best practices.

  • Utilize data tools to import, manage, upload, and validate data using established standards and processes.

  • Ensure the accuracy of data to support downstream applications and departments.

  • Audit data changes within applications and ensure all applications receive each update.

  • Proactively solve data discrepancies and correct problems.

  • Review exception data reports and troubleshoot trends.

  • Other duties may be assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 0-2 years of professional experience, business or operations background preferred

  • Hands-on self-starter with the ability to effectively follow difficult issues to resolution

  • Must have excellent communication skills, both written and oral

  • Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially advanced functions of Excel

  • Ability and willingness to learn new computer software applications as required for the job

  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with great attention to detail

  • Ability to quickly respond, prioritize and act amid multiple, conflicting demands
