Job Description

The Chattanooga plant is a leading global supplier of catalysts and other products and services to petroleum refiners; catalysts for the manufacture of plastics; silica-based engineered and specialty materials for a wide-range of industrial applications; specialty chemicals, additives and materials for commercial and residential construction; and, sealants and coatings for food packaging. The site is currently accepting resumes for a Stores Supervisor

Job Responsibilities Include:

• Responsible for the total stores operation which entails managing the inventory of parts and supplies

• Receive, stock and maintain all items necessary to keep the plant operating

• Responsible for the purchasing of all parts and equipment relative to plant operations and capital projects

• Knowledge across various products such as tools, abrasives, pipes, chemicals, valves & fittings, fasteners, cutting tools, electrical products, PPE etc

• Maintain correct inventory at established levels through use of SAP and physical inventory

• Utilize 5S principles to continuously improve Stores organization and housekeeping

• Continuously identifying cost-savings opportunities

• Manage Storeroom budget (Annual Operating Plan)

Required Skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential

• Must be PC literate including MS Word and Excel

• Well organized, detail oriented and enjoys being a problem solver

• Prior Stores management and knowledge of SAP preferred

Required Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent with two to four years experience in a manufacturing environment
