This position will be responsible for marketing and selling commercial heavy duty trucks and equipment to qualified companies for the Volvo truck line.

To be considered, candidates must have experience in heavy equipment sales. In addition, an understanding of the transportation industry as well as truck dealership operations and service activities is desired.

Core Responsibilities:

Achieve target sales goals while ensuring customer satisfaction with product design and specifications on new truck orders

Develop and maintain professional relationships with new and current commercial truck customers/accounts

Represent the company to customers, dealers and the community at trade shows, dealer meetings and other events

Skills/Experience:

3 - 5 years heavy duty truck sales experience

Technical knowledge of truck specifications preferred

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office

An ability to quickly acquire product knowledge and understand how to apply that knowledge

Strong interpersonal skills

BA/BS College Degree preferred
