The role.

The Head of Procurement is an authority of the Procurement team and a member of the Innomotics management team in the US. This position will play a pivotal role in crafting the procurement strategy and operations across the Americas region (US, CA, MX, AR, CL, BR and CO). The objective is to improve EVA, reduce supplier risk and meet or exceed define target costs and efficiency targets. This position will collaborate with head of operations, plant management and finance leadership to establish outstanding Supply Chain Management processes focused on efficiency, quality, delivery reliability and innovation. This role will champion special procurement topics to be implemented across all locations.

Strategic Procurement and Logistics Management : Lead all aspects of the Procurement, Logistics, Export Control, and Customs functions for Innomotics across the USA and Americas, ensuring efficient cost, quality, and availability of services and materials.

Divisional Procurement Support : Actively collaborate with the divisional procurement organization to lead expenditures within productions across three locations in US and one in BR, enhancing the procurement division's effectiveness.

Team Leadership and Development : Establish and lead a strong, cost-efficient Procurement, Logistics, and ECC team in alignment with local and global strategic goals. Develop a regional procurement team for indirect materials and services, championing a strong talent pool to cultivate a skilled and capable workforce.

Performance and Compliance Management : Run the regional Project & Customer Service procurement team, setting high-reaching targets in line with business objectives and ensuring compliance with the Letter of Authorization (LoA) process for bid releases.

Innovation and Efficiency : Drive material productivity and procurement diversification through innovative negotiation methods, global value sourcing, e-sourcing, and cost & value engineering. Implement effective tools and IT applications in collaboration with Headquarters.

Sustainability and Risk Management : Lead sustainability projects and ECC initiatives within your direct report scope and regionally, as coordinated with functional and divisional heads. Develop a proactive risk management and critical issue process for suppliers in Americas, ensuring continuous compliance with Business Conduct Guidelines.

Market Analysis and Hedging : Supervise commercial and technological trends to contribute to the business, including benchmarking. Ensure the implementation of hedging decisions in line with the Innomotics Hedging circle.

Standalone Setup Implementation : Ensure the smooth implementation of a standalone setup post-carve-out, systematically mitigating potential cost increases and ensuring full operational independence.

Your profile.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or similar, Master level degree preferred.

  • 10+ years validated experience in running procurement, logistics, and supply chain functions, preferably on a regional or global scale.

  • Strong leadership and team development skills, with a track record of building impactful teams.

  • Excellent negotiation, strategic planning, and project management capabilities.

  • Familiarity with sustainability and risk management practices in procurement.

  • Ability to analyze market trends and make data-driven decisions.

  • Effective communicator, capable of aligning cross-functional and international teams towards common goals.

  • Fluent in English, with proficiency in other languages relevant to the Americas region being an advantage.

The pay range for this position is $138,100 - $236,800. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
