Description

We are searching for an Associate General Counsel in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho to join our in-house team. As our Associate General Counsel, you will be responsible for representing the company in complex legal matters, transactions, negotiations, and disputes related to real estate. This role involves guiding and advising clients through real estate transactions and conducting thorough research and due diligence.

The salary range for this role is 75-110k. Benefits provided include medical, dental and vision insurance, 401k, 2+weeks PTO with additional sick time and 8 paid holidays.

Responsibilities:

• Review, draft, and negotiate real estate contracts, deeds, and documents.

• Conduct comprehensive research and due diligence on titles, easements, zoning, and regulatory compliance.

• Provide sound legal advice to clients on real estate matters and potential risk factors.

• Liaise with clients, realtors, brokers, and title companies to manage closing transactions.

• Stay updated on current trends and legislation in real estate law.

• Understand and respect client confidentiality and promote the firm's reputation.

Requirements

• Must be a Licensed Attorney with active bar license

• Holds a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.

• Juris Doctor with strong academic credentials

• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Familiarity with real estate law and contracts.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Proficient in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Newly barred attorneys with strong academic performance will be considered, with or without prior experience practicing as an attorney.
