We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer with expertise in microservices architecture and semantic technologies to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, cloud computing, and DevOps practices. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing microservices-based applications and platform-as-a-service solutions that leverage semantic technologies.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing microservices-based applications and platform-as-a-service solutions that leverage semantic technologies and PLM (TCe, 3DX).

What you'll do…

  • Design, develop, and implement microservices-based applications and platform-as-a-service solutions that leverage semantic technologies.

  • System Integration - Design and implement integration points between different systems and ensure that the data flows smoothly between them.

  • Identify and address performance bottlenecks, optimize code, and implement best practices to ensure that solution meets the performance requirements.

  • Lead the Team and design of microservices-based systems that use semantic technologies.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize technical requirements and deliverables.

  • Mentor developers, provide guidance on technical issues, and ensure that the team adheres to best practices and standards.

  • Implement security measures such as access controls, data encryption, and data backups, and ensure that Platform as a Service adheres to compliance requirements.

  • Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in software engineering, microservices architecture, semantic technologies, and cloud computing.

You'll have…

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on microservices architecture, semantic technologies, and cloud computing.

Even better, you may also have…

  • Expertise in modern software engineering practices, including Agile development, DevOps, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD).

  • Strong knowledge of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).

  • Exposure with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform.

  • Subtle understanding of semantic technologies, their representation, and their application in software development.

  • Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

This position is a salary grade 7-8.
