In your role, you will
Define, analyze & identify improvements to engineering processes adapted to internal & external customer needs.
Evaluate, select, and implement advanced tools, software, and processes to streamline engineering development, testing, and production processes.
Lead workshops to capture internal & external function & business requirements
Interact with different parts of the organization to ensure applicability of proposed solutions
Support improvement initiatives within engineering aligned with the product lifecycle management (PLM) strategy of the organization, in collaboration with the Business & Information Solutions team
Develop training programs and documentation to educate and guide aerospace staff on new processes and tools, ensuring smooth adoption and adherence to best practices.
Assist users during & after the deployment of process & tools improvements
Manage team priorities & activities effectively
Prepare & participate in meeting with the development team to discuss & align project related activities
Provide regular visibility on the different projects you manage
Develop & harmonize project schedules & ensure adherence from the technical team
Lead activities to identify, manage & mitigate project risks
Facilitate problem solving, ensure stakeholder engagement & resolve issues efficiently
Evolve in a flexible & hybrid work environment where part of the time is spent working remotely
As our ideal candidate
You have an engineering bachelor degree or equivalent.
You have minimum 5 to 15 years of relevant experience in engineering within manufacturing company.
Proficiency in project management, with demonstrated leadership and teamwork abilities .
You have experience in CAD. PLM, ERP & with product change management principles
You demonstrate excellent communication skills, both verbal & written, in English & French, as well as the ability to train &/or mentor others
You are very comfortable using the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Projects)
You possess strong analytical, planning, problem solving & interpersonal skills, as well as a good business acumen.
You are organized, autonomous & manage your time effectively.
You are familiar with aircraft development programs (an asset)
