Position: Shipping and Receiving Clerk IV Locations: Dripping Springs, TX (Austin, TX area) Description: We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk with expertise in build-to-print (BTP) inspections. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accurate receipt, inspection, and shipment of materials and products according to specified build-to-print requirements. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Primary Responsibilities: Utilize various Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and Checklists and various parts counting equipment and techniques. Standard duties would include but not be limited to: Receive incoming shipments and verify the accuracy of quantities and specifications against purchase orders and packing lists. Perform detailed inspections of incoming materials and products based on build-to-print specifications and quality standards. Document and report any discrepancies, damages, or non-conformances identified during inspections to relevant stakeholders. Maintain accurate records of received materials, including serial numbers, lot numbers, and inspection results. Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring proper packaging and labeling according to customer requirements and shipping regulations. Coordinate with internal departments to schedule and prioritize outgoing shipments to meet production and customer deadlines. Assist in the resolution of shipping and receiving discrepancies, including coordinating with suppliers and carriers as needed. Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy by conducting regular cycle counts and reconciling discrepancies. Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while handling materials and operating equipment. Preferred Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in shipping, receiving, or quality inspection preferred. Proven experience working in a shipping and receiving role, with a focus on build-to-print inspections in a manufacturing or aerospace environment. Knowledge of aluminum specifications. Previous experience with inspection automation software. Required: Familiarity with reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and build-to-print documentation. Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately perform inspections and maintain documentation.Must be detail oriented within a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with internal teams, suppliers, and customers. Ability to meet or exceed deadlines Proficiency in using computerized inventory management systems and Microsoft Office applications. Must be detail oriented within a fast-paced environment Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks in a dynamic work environment. Valid driver's license and ability to obtain necessary certifications for operating material handling equipment. Must pass background verification, pre-employment drug testing, and submit to the company's Drug and Alcohol Abuse Program. Must be able to work overtime and weekends as necessary. Must be legally able to work in the USA and supply supporting documentation.
