The Senior Marketer, Demand Activation - Tradeshow Planner sits within the Thomson Reuters, Demand Generation Activation team and is responsible for effectively supporting initiatives and corporate priorities by planning, coordinating, implementing, and analyzing trade show marketing activities. About the Role In this opportunity as Senior Marketer, Demand Activation - Tradeshow Planner, you will: Manage all aspects of show logistics from beginning-to-end for multiple, simultaneous, events: including negotiate contracts, manage show specific budgets, order products, order show services, instruct show staffers and evaluate post show data. On-site show management for events on an ongoing, as needed basis. Communicate proposals, booth diagrams, and budgets to internal stakeholders for review and approval and participate in planning, strategy and advisory meetings, as necessary. Manage and coordinate graphic fulfillment portal internally for Sales (Tier 3) supported shows. Manage Sales expectations and clearly communicate the functionality of the program. Provide structure and cadence reports by Market Segment to the tradeshow team, Marketing stakeholders and management.. Build and maintain strong relationships/communication channels with external vendors and associations/organizations. Creatively leverage these relationships to ensure that Thomson Reuters receives the maximum value for show services and the best possible trade show presence. Work on some of the largest tradeshows around the globe to develop creative, modern tradeshow programs and events to engage our prospects and customer base. Be bold - Collaborate with peers and experiment with creative ideas to differentiate the Thomson Reuters brand at top industry tradeshows. Deliver a continuous high level of service across all events, providing transparency on spend to drive cost efficiencies, ensuring that marketing ROI is maximized. Rethink what value the modern tradeshow brings to our customers and build meaningful customer experiences that allows clients and prospects to interact and build connections. Serve as a connector between business groups and have an eye for consistency, process, and knack for building efficiencies into project plans and workflows. Assume on-call responsibility for problem resolution (booth staff, vendors, associations) including evening, weekends and holidays. Maintain vendor/partner relations with External Vendors such as Freeman, Bolger (collateral and premium management system), Upstream, shipping ve dors and our internal Creative Studio. Ability to travel on an as-needed basis at pillar events where on-site support maybe required including weekends; flexible approach to working hours. About You You're a fit for the role of Senior Marketer, Demand Activation - Tradeshow Planner if your background includes: BA/BS Preferred. CTSM (Certified Trade Show Marketer) degree is attractive, but not required. 5-7+ years in tradeshow management experience. Successfully plan and execute high-level corporate tradeshows and ancillary events at shows. Creative, customer-first mindset that prioritizes creating memorable experiences for our customer base. Ability to communicate with all levels of management, co-workers and customers. Self-starter that can motivate and drive collaboration across Marketing stakeholders. Team player with the ability to foster strong relationships across multiple levels and functions within the organization - including working closely with marketing, sales, product and operations teams to succeed and grow. Ability to take ownership of tasks, solve problems, and be adaptable. Understanding of modern tradeshow and B2B demand generation best practices including integrating online and offline marketing tactics to reach, connect and convert prospects.
