Posting in multiple office locations, only hiring one Electrical Engineer EIT for one office location. Locations include San Diego, CA; Anchorage, AK; Falmouth, ME; Honolulu, HI.

This entry-level position assists in the preparation of engineering design and documents. An EIT supports a wide variety of projects, both commercial and government, and participates in multidisciplinary field efforts. This position works under general supervision of lead engineers or project managers. This position serves as a technician in the application of electrical concepts, principles, and methods in the areas of electrical power distribution, instrumentation and controls, lighting, and safety. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated, energetic team player and meet the stated requirements.

Qualifications

  • Ability to obtain U.S. military base access through completion of a comprehensive background check.
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited curriculum.
  • Passed or working towards passing the Engineer in Training (EIT) Exam.
  • Valid drivers license and a clean driving record.
  • Willing and able to independently travel periodically to project locations, domestic and internationally.
  • Working towards obtaining professional licensure.

Physical Requirements

  • Work is performed in a variety of indoor and outdoor environments and conditions.
  • See, hear and communicate with others in varying conditions using various methods.
  • Travel independently, average of 25% of the year, for varying periods, both domestic and international.
  • Able to lift or move a minimum of 50 lbs. May be required to lift up to 100 lbs. over short distances.
  • Sit or stand for sustained period.
  • Ascend or descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles, and the like.
  • Walk, stand, crouch on uneven surfaces.
