Job Description

We're hiring a Stores Coordinator - Warehouse Coordinator who will report to our Stores Supervisor in our Lake Charles, LA plant. This person will be accountable for c oordinating and overseeing all Warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, issuing, and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Create/update material masters and equipment BOMs

• Reconcile daily cycle counts

• Produce monthly warehouse KPI’s

• Assist with Kitting/MRO work process

• Expedites monthly open PO reports

• Provide coaching and support to warehouse personnel

• Manage repairable items for stores stock

• Assist maintenance with parts sourcing

Physical Requirements and Environment

• Ability to work in a high hazard environment, including adverse weather conditions, elevated spaces, confined spaces, extreme temperatures, and noisy surroundings.

• Must be able to stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb stairs and ladders over 100 ft.

• Must be willing to wear PPE (Personal Protective equipment) including but not limited to hard hat, protective eyewear, steel-toed boots, hearing protection, Level A suit, full face respirator

Required Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED

• 3+ years of Warehouse/Maintenance experience working within a manufacturing environment with petro-chemical highly preferred

• Proficient using MS Office suite
