UCLA Health Accounts Payable Processor in Los Angeles, California

Description

As the Accounts Payable Processor, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing various administrative responsibilities in supporting the daily departmental operations

  • Responsible for accurately analyzing transaction and vendor activity and ensuring timely payment of invoices

  • Providing accounts payable user expertise as an active member of the EMPAC Lawson and Ascend Scanner Accounts Payable support team

  • Acting as a liaison between Requestors, Material management, SPD and vendors

  • Performing on-line accounting data entry/transactions for assigned vendor (1200-1500 invoices/month)

  • Maintaining and updating department vendor files via the Information Systems department

  • Identifying, collecting, researching, analyzing and resolving accounts payable issues

  • Proficiently reconciles vendor statements and independently prioritizes assignments to meet deadlines

  • Maintaining an audit trail to ensure efficient and accurate record tracking

  • Providing administrative and clerical support as needed

Salary Range: $24.57- $34.87/hourly

Qualifications

We are looking for a self-directed, detail oriented individual with:

  • Associates degree in Accounting/Finance/Business desired or equivalent of 2+ years' experience in an integrated Accounts Payable environment preferred

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable/financial administration

  • Strong technical, analytical and computer skills

  • Experience with computerized Accounts Payable, accurate Data Entry, Rapid 10-key, Excel/Access/Word, Detailed-oriented and Customer service oriented.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills to establish and maintain professional working relationships and communicate (oral/written) effectively with extensive contacts (internal/external)
