Reporting to the HR Shared Service Center Manager, the Global Mobility Analyst will be part of the HR Shared Service Center (HRSSC) team in Loveland, Colorado supporting the Global Mobility Advisor with Immigration and Relocation Activities. This role will work collaboratively with the Global Mobility Advisor in providing superb customer service to our internal colleagues with emphasis on delivering the ideal employee relocation experience.


  • Achieve a solid understanding of HRSSC and Global Mobility policies and procedures, both US and Canada, to be able to provide guidance and support to HR and employees, make administrative and procedural recommendations and exercise judgment on sensitive issues in alignment with corporate policy/regulations.

  • Support the ongoing development and continuous improvement initiatives within the HRSSC and Global Mobility by participating in activities such as the review and update of process documentation.

  • Safeguard employee privacy where appropriate, including confidentiality and protection of sensitive information.

  • To ensure that health, safety, security and risk issues are considered and factored into all areas of activity. Regular reviews are undertaken and actions taken as necessary.


  • Support the Global Mobility Advisor with mobility casework, reporting and various special projects.

  • Administers and oversees all US inbound relocations.

  • Create individual cost estimates for all relocation activity.

  • Support the day to day (GBO) Guaranteed Buyout and Buyer Value Option (BVO) programs.

  • Escalates policy exception requests to management for their consideration and approval.

  • Oversee US immigration activity, acting as a liaison between Nutrien’s immigration provider, HR Managers and the employees involved in L1, H1-B, TN, E 3 and Permanent Resident cases

  • Mitigate reputational risk to the organization by ensuring compliance in all immigration casework.

  • Provide recommendations to HR partners and hiring managers regarding immigration requirements, strategies and timelines.

  • Monitors immigration reports for expiry dates and visa extensions, initiating new cases, if and where necessary.

  • Creates purchase requisitions for immigration and relocation services.

  • Liaises with Third Party Vendors as appropriate to support day to day work.

  • Acts as point of contact during the Global Mobility Advisors absence, liaising with the Centers of Excellence (COE) or HRSSC Manager as appropriate.

  • Continually evaluate operational efficiency and recommending process improvements.

  • Participate in ongoing training and external seminars to enable professional development

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources or other similar degree

  • Certified Relocation Professional (CRP) designation preferred.

  • 1-3 years of experience in Canada, U.S. and/or global immigration/relocation administration

  • Knowledge and practical experience with Guaranteed Buyout (GBO) and Buyer Value Option (BVO) programs.

  • Prior experience managingthe full relocation cycle for employees at all levels of the organization is preferred.

  • Previous experience in international human resources or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Experience with SAP, Microsoft Excel and Word

  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to write clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication settings and styles

  • Strong Customer service orientation

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong relationship building skills with all levels both within and outside of the organization

  • Ability to manage multiple pieces of work simultaneously meeting required deadlines

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Desired Qualification :

  • Experience in international mobility is advantageous

  • Certified Relocation Professional (CRP) designation is preferred

  • Previous experience working with international payroll or tax issues

  • Experience working within or alongside a HR Shared Service Center environment

  • Ability to understand the needs of different cultures within an organization

  • Experience utilizing Case Management Systems such as ServiceNow
