Senior GlobalSupply Chain Planner About the Role: The Global Supply Chain (GSC) Senior Planner will support the Peripheral Interventions Division. This cross-functional role provides the unique opportunity to be involved in strategic projects that have a companywide impact. Activities and tasks range from strategic to tactical in spectrum. This position requires a high-performance individual that can quickly adapt to requirements of the task at hand, an initiative-taking independent thinker and analytical person with strong a work ethic. The GSC Planner will demonstrate high attention to detail and a desire to produce accurate work. Additional skills required include creative out of the box thinking, consulting, and influencing skills, project management, coordinating and planning, and skillful manipulation and detailed analysis of large amounts of data. The GSC Planner is also expected to be efficient in working with the systems, tools, and people that support the various business functions. The ideal candidate is highly adaptable, flexible, and willing to accept new ideas, processes, and procedures. Your Responsibilities Include: Forecasting: Provide forecast analytics for business needs including monthly preparation of forecast that includesanalysis of customer demand, statistical models, and product manager input. Lead monthly Demand Management meetings and documents assumptions and changes. Measure and report product forecast accuracy to achieve division accuracy goals and correct future forecasts. Lead the long-range forecast process. Demand Planning/Scheduling: Work with Marketing/customers to identify all known demand sources. Review and understand demand signals from regional teams. Review stocking strategies and approve changes noting inputs resulting in change. Optimally manage high cost and short shelf-life product. New Product Launch & Manufacturing Location Transfer Management: Participate in the launch of new products as a Core Team Member; develop forecasts, cannibalizationplans, and introduction schedules. Influence and direct the core team on product launches to ensure they are both beneficial to the business and help optimize the portfolio. Participate in the planning and execution of line transfers including but not limited to regulatory buffer builds, analyzing, and making assumptions on long-range forecast, and coordinating forward deployment of inventory based on regulatory requirements. Inventory Management: Develop inventory plans. Monitor inventory performance to plan and targets. Manage expired, excess and obsolescence reserves. Allocate inventory to regions in short supply situations. Supply Chain Execution: Support regular planning processes. Monitor manufacturing execution. Provide inventory analysis and proactively manage backorders. Drive SI&OP Process. Achieve Key Performance Metrics: Service Level, Backorder, Inventory, Forecast Accuracy, Schedule Adherence. What We're Looking For: Required Qualifications: Four-year degree and work experience in related field. 6+ years' experience in supply chain, materials management, manufacturing planning or inventory control function. Working experience with SAP or an equivalent DRP, MPS, MRP, or ERP System. Extremely strong PC skills utilizing such software programs as Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint. Excellent communication skills with the ability to speak respectfully to help improve the business. Demonstrated ability to lead, problem solve and infl ence change. Initiative-taker with a proven track record of accountability and ability to react and form teams to address urgent situations. Preferred Qualifications: Exposure to global supply chains and business partners. Continuous education in a related field. APICS certification. Manufacturing experience.
