CAE USA INC C-CST-150 Mechanical Design Intern in Montreal (St. Laurent), Canada
Role and Responsibilities
This position is exclusively open to students in the process of obtaining an academic degree
Internship date : September 3rd to December 20th 2024

The role we are offering you:
The Aftermarket Division updates flight simulators with the latest aeronautical improvements. Our employees develop innovative solutions to technological challenges.
You will be part of a multidisciplinary team responsible for the hardware design for updates and upgrade on flight simulator
You will perform in the analysis of drawings, specifications and requirements for both internal and external customers
You will design in collaboration with the engineering groups, manufacturing and installation team
You will be responsible for the design, and design documentation including 3D CAD models, 2D drawing parts list
You will be responsible for designing manufacturing, assembly and installation drawings
You will be working closely with the senior engineering staff to generate cost effective solution to meet our customer requirements
You will recommend and apply technical solutions to meet the requirements of the projects
Our ideal candidate has:
Student in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering concepts
Good knowledge of CAD systems and word processing software and spreadsheets
Proficient with MS-Office tools
Excellent team spirit and good communication skills
Ability to manage priorities in an environment containing multiple deliveries and complexities
Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset
Preferred Education
- Pursuing undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering or related field
Location of the internship is Montreal
Internship will be carried out in hybrid mode
*All applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada and must meet the requirements of the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP). All hires will be required to complete, sign and return the Controlled Goods Program form within a week of its transmittal. They must also provide a copy of their passport or birth certificate. All students with a work permit must provide a copy of it and a police clearance certificate from the country or countries where they have resided in the past five years.
*Please take note that if you are on a student, work or international student permit, the delays for the security background check take minimum 16 weeks.
