Job Summary The Research Scientist will work with Dr. Amy Carroll-Scott and collaborators to complete several papers related to the creation of a trauma index. This index was based on a literature review, interviews with violence prevention program directors and staff, and an index of Census tract-level indicators pulled from publicly available data sources. Essential Functions Assist with manuscript writing and preparation for submission to peer-reviewed journals. Update literature review, including managing citations and references. Required Qualifications PhD or Doctorate in public health or a related field 1 year of relevant experience Literature review skills and familiarity with web and literature search terms and logic Proficient using Microsoft Office, NVivo, Zoom Ability to work remotely, independently, while keeping collaborators up-to-date on progress Excellent writing skills Location Remote Additional Information This is a part-time Per Diem position classified as Non-Exempt.  The offered pay is based on the successful candidate's qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
