The Position

We are currently recruiting for a Director, Physician Office Segment Strategy for Biosimilars Marketing Strategy and Promotion (US). The position will be based in Plymouth Meeting, PA and will report to the Associate Vice President, Head of US Biosimilar Business Unit.

This position will be focused on marketing and execution of the biosimilar portfolio across a range of provider specialties that treat auto-immune and oncology diseases. It will require a strong understanding of the buy and bill markets, knowledge of emerging biosimilar trends, and experience in marketing, launch planning, and account management. The biosimilar landscape is complex and rapidly evolving, requiring a potential candidate to have the ability to learn quickly and create a differentiated customer experience for the Organon biosimilars.

The person selected for this position will need to have strong leadership skills, ability to communicate and collaborate effectively, lead cross-functional teams, clearly articulate a vision and objectives to internal stakeholders and partners, plan and execute work according to timelines for market events, and respond to customer insights in a dynamic fashion. The selected candidate is expected to operate with integrity and transparency, as well as respect and adherence for the laws and regulations that govern our industry and our company policies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead a contracting strategy for the portfolio of biosimilars for the Physician office and Home Infusion segments.

  • Manage the Physician Office and Home Infusion segments with P&L mindset considering the income expectations, allocation of resources, portfolio implications, and the necessary trade-offs.

  • Utilize internal marketing tools focused on business-to-business engagements to understand the market landscape, customer segments, buying processes, and commercialization strategy for the portfolio.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to influence the development of marketing plans and promotional resources for the biosimilar portfolio.

  • Manage internal stakeholder concerns for commercialization and escalate issues that represent significant barriers.

  • Become the Organon point of contact for large customer organizations in the Physician Office and Home Infusion segments.

  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to prioritize work, understand necessary trade-offs, and help facilitate internal resource development.

Required Education, Experience and Skills

  • BA/BS

  • Minimum 5 years healthcare marketing or marketing support roles.

  • Demonstrated competency in marketing practices and processes.

  • Strong leadership, strategic thinking, problem solving, teamwork, analytical skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and effective presentation skills.

  • Experience with leading and collaborating across functional areas, influencing without authority, and working with external partners.

  • Requires approximately 20% travel, including some weekends.

Preferred Education, Experience and Skills

  • MBA

  • Understanding of buy and bill market considerations, key customers, and current practice dynamics that influence brand choices.

  • Experience with market access strategy development.

  • Experience in oncology and/or immunology marketing.

  • Experience in commercial strategy for biosimilars.

  • Understanding of contracting, reimbursement, and practice economics for buy and bill products for providers, payers, patients and other stakeholders.

  • Experience working with Specialty and Oncology GPOs, and Practice Management Groups.

  • Knowledge of current federal and state policy issues for biosimilars and their potential impact on commercialization and adoption of biosimilars.

Annualized Salary Range (US)

$166,100.00 - $282,600.00
