We have an exciting role to join our Oceania Business as a Supply Planner. There are opportunities to work with domestic or international suppliers, managing the network to meet our internal Business and external Customer needs. You’ll be part of a team that delivers both operational results and strategic projects, driving process, cost and business improvements.

A day in the life….

Nestlé operate one of the largest supply chain networks in the Oceania region. Our teams are cohesively supported by global tools, local expertise and cutting edge technology such as GS1 and SAP.

You will be required to manage the Supply Network of the assigned area of the business. You’ll deliver to Customer Service levels by replenishing each dispatch point whilst maintaining optimal stock cover that also takes into account cost optimisation and product freshness.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Analyse and evaluate the 18 month supply plan to ensure our customer requirements are met

  • Effectively collaborate across the business to bring new products to market

  • Establishing stock policies, balance the need for product availability versus the need to minimise costs.

  • Manage supply relationships through structured performance reviews and issue resolution

What you will need to be successful….

  • Degree-qualification is desired

  • Supply Planning experience within the FMCG industry is a plus!

  • You will have the ability to successfully drive and deliver projects and understand end-to-end processes

  • SAP experience will be highly desirable and strong communication skills are a necessity.

  • Experience in stakeholder management, influencing and interpersonal skills

  • The right person must be proactive, thorough and detailed, with a high level of relationship building.

  • You are a problem solver, proactive and strong in implementing sustainable solutions to address business needs and/or issues

  • You will already have what it takes to understand customer requirements, inventory management and deliver process improvements.

  • You’ll need strong commercial acumen and analytical skills
