Role Description

This is a full-time onsite role for a Safety Specialist located in Rincon, GA. The Safety Specialist will be responsible for ensuring Health and Safety, Environment Health and Safety (EHS), Occupational Health, Safety Training, and Accident Investigation. They will perform regular assessments of risks and hazards in the workplace, participate in safety-related investigations and reviews, and provide safety training for staff and management.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Health and Safety regulations and best practices
• Experience in Environment Health and Safety (EHS) management
• Experience in Occupational Health and Safety
• Experience conducting Safety Training
• Experience conducting Accident Investigations
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently while maintaining safety standards and regulations
• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations and experience with regulatory compliance
• Experience in the automotive industry or a manufacturing environment is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field preferred
