Reporting to the Mill Mechanical Supervisor.

Key Tasks:

  • Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task and ensure the safety of fellow employees.

  • Fit and fabricate pipe using supplied drawings and field verify measurements.

  • Field measure and create drawings, if no drawings are available.

  • Remove and install pipe and hangers in the Mill using proper rigging techniques.

Skills:

  • Positive safety behavior and safety leadership.

  • Strong interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

  • Experience with all piping mediums such steel, HDPE, stainless.

  • Experience with complex rigging techniques to install pipe in difficult locations.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Possess a valid Saskatchewan or Interprovincial Journeyperson Pipefitter Certificate.

  • Stable work record.

  • Previous experience in an industrial environment is an asset.
