Description The qualified candidate will be performing a variety of tasks and functions in their day-to-day role to fully support the users and critical infrastructure at Confluence Investment Management including:

• Respond to user issues and serve as escalation point for existing user issues, with a focus on timely remediation and documentation.

• Proactively monitor and respond to environmental alerts and notifications to remediate systems issues on an ongoing basis.

• Develop new strategies and maintain existing strategies for network security following industry best practices and trending practices.

• Maintain and develop automation strategies for key departments including Operations and Trading focusing on efficiency and scalability of departmental workflows.

The qualified candidate will be expected to have mid level understanding of various technologies in use at Confluence Investment Management, including:

• Virtualization with VMware vSphere and VMware Horizon VDI

• Windows Server administration to include Active Directory, DNS, Permissions, Performance Monitoring and Troubleshooting, Group Policy, and Security

• Office 365 administration to include AD Connect, Azure AD, Intune, Teams

• Automation and Scripting experience, PowerShell and MSSQL preferred

The qualified candidate will report directly to the IT Manager and work alongside other members of the IT team to collaborate on and develop strategies and solutions for all departments and technologies.

This is a hybrid position requiring a combination of on-site and remote work. Hours tend to coincide with market hours, with additional support to relevant departments during pre-market hours.

This position does not require regular travel.

The required experience for this position includes:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent work experience (3+ years systems administration in an enterprise environment if no degree).

• VMware vSphere – 1+ years

• Windows Desktop and Server OS – 1+ years

• Network Administration: firewalls, switches, VLANs, IPSEC – 2+ years

• Scripting Language: PowerShell, SQL, C#/.NET preferred

Preference for candidates with demonstrated experience or certifications in one or more of the following:

• Advent APX and Advent Moxy

• Database Administration with MSSQL

• Dynamics365 (Sales and Marketing)

• CISSP, Sec+, CISA, or other cybersecurity certification

• Previous experience in the financial services industry

• Netwrix Auditor

• Graylog/Grafana/InfluxDB/Telegraf
