VC-25B General Mechanic

$35-40/hour, Full-Time

Job Description:

• Demonstrated experience on-aircraft Depot Level/Heavy General maintenance.

• Experience working various aircraft exterior and interior systems such as : hydraulic, flight control, monuments, landing gears, fuel systems, and engines.

• Demonstrated experience with preserving aircraft structure, sealing, shimming, and the ability to interpret engineering drawings and retrofit requirements to perform modifications and aircraft servicing.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of on-aircraft general maintenance experience.

• Experience performing aircraft engine runs, and engine borescope inspections.

• Operate a forklift, mobile crane, and riding type electric powered elevating equipment to accomplish work assignment.

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or GED and typically 3 or more years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Currently possess an FAA A&P License or Military Technical School equivalent

• Computer skills experience including but not limited to: aircraft related systems and basic Microsoft Suite software (i.e. Word, Excel)

• Experience reading and understanding engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications
