       Elementary Counselor at Northside Elementary - Half-time (.50 FTE)Elementary Counselors provide knowledge and support to help students develop positive decision-making and communication skills, and positive attitudes toward school, their peers and themselves.The salary range for the 2024-25 school year is $24,569 - $35,509 depending on applicable years of experience. There are stipends available for education levels at Doctorate Degree and National Board Certification.New Counselors to LPOSD are paired with a Mentor Counselor during your first year of employment, assisting you in establishing yourself in the profession and the District. Counselors coordinate services with students, families, Teachers, Principals, and School Psychologists to support students in grades K-6.LPOSD is well supported by the community, and there are many parents and other community members who regularly volunteer in our schools.
