Amazon Sr. Process Engineer, JP Process Engineering in Sydney, Australia

Description

The Amazon Logistics (AMZL) team is looking to hire an experienced, innovative, hands on and customer obsessed Sr. Process Engineer to drive standardization and innovation in physical infrastructure, layout and material flow across our Last Mile delivery network.

The successful candidate will be responsible to lead optimization of AMZL Delivery Stations by continuously driving processes innovations, developing safe & efficient equipment and creating Infrastructure design standards.

Key job responsibilities

  • Develop and improve Amazon Logistics equipment/processes to enhance safety, customer experience, capacity, speed, quality and cost goals

  • Lead multiple high priority projects that involves management of stakeholders from different functional areas

  • Drive standardization by creating and improving design process standards

  • Implement and establish World-Wide best practices

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

Melbourne, VIC, AUS | Sydney, NSW, AUS

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, mechanical, operations, supply chain, business administration, or equivalent STEM field

  • Experience and strong technical background in relevant fields of automated or non-automated material handling equipment

  • 5+ years of directly managing and responsible for multiple large projects experience

  • Experience in Lean Management, Six Sigma and other operations engineer tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with benchmarking technical equipment and metrics
