Job Description
Required Duties
Must be able to work in a professional engineering team-based environment. Application Engineer is responsible for conceptualizing and simulating of automated systems for customer applications and processes. These concepts and simulations are required to develop a most cost effective, and specification compliant solution.
Customer specification review
Detailed system simulation
Product flow simulation
Process validation
Reach studies and layout validation
Risk assessments
Cycle time validation
Throughput calculation and validation
Equipment selection
Technical consultation
Cost estimating
Technical proposal development
Various research of equipment and processes.

Experience Required:
Three to seven years of experience is similar role.
Education:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or automation field (Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent)
Responsibilities for Health, Safety and Environment include:
Work in compliance with divisional health, safety, and environmental procedures
Refrain from removing or altering safety devices or guarding unless hazardous energies are controlled through lockout-tagout methods
Report any unsafe conditions or unsafe acts
Report defect in any equipment or protective device
Ensure that the required protective equipment is used for the assigned tasks
Attend all required health, safety, and environmental training
Report any accidents/incidents to supervisor
Assist in investigating accidents/incidents
Refrain from engaging in any prank, contest, feat of strength, unnecessary running, or rough and boisterous conduct
