As a member of a cross functional team, you lead RDQ activities required to complete process design and process deployment for innovation, growth and cost optimization projects across multiple geographies with an emphasis on delivering the desired consumer experience.

How you will contribute

Working independently, you will lead technical work across multiple projects aligned with RDQ, marketing and manufacturing requirements, effectively communicating status and risks. You will also lead activities designed to generate appropriate process information using modelling and simulation, and pilot plant scale up and factory trials in accordance with good manufacturing practice and HACCP requirements. You will be involved with/lead process design and specifications, process scale-up and commissioning and will ensure the effective use of resources, including the use of external agencies. This position requires you to manage stakeholders and to influence decisions based on data analysis and interpretation of results; create and maintain accurate consumer centric process specifications; leverage connections to internal and external technical communities, and; create intellectual property that gives Mondelēz International a competitive advantage.

Responsibilities:

  • Independently lead or participate in execution of major Capex project types, either multiple projects in parallel with phased dead‐ lines, or, medium to large sized RD&Q projects, with 2-3 interfaces outside RD&Q; Projects can vary from brief bench-top scale, through to plant trials and com‐ missioning, including CQV.

  • Work very closely with BD & Engineering team on projects including new line design, be part of design review activities, interact & work with Equipment suppliers on technical solutions.

  • Ensure consistency, technical precision and compliance with methods of work.

  • Recommend improvements within department.

  • Responsibility/measurement is individual results/performance but may also include team goals.

  • Independent interpretation of data to deliver results and draw business relevant conclusions.

  • Effectively structure and present status updates / proposals to influence partners or share with senior management.

  • Requires limited coaching of direct manager on complex activities, especially business-related topics, or new technical knowledge.

You will be part of EU Regional Chocolate process development team which having scope of 26 Chocolate plants and various External Manufacturing partners
